Comox Strathcona Waste Management Service

Comox Strathcona Waste Management is governed by a board of directors that includes elected officials from member municipalities and rural areas of the Comox Valley and Strathcona regional districts.

The CVRD operates the service under letters patent. The board meets in Campbell River or Courtenay on a regular basis and as required.

The board encourages you to participate in open discussions about regional solid waste. The board is governed by the CVRD Procedure Bylaw No. 1, which regulates the proceedings of the board.

Requests to appear as a delegation before the regional solid waste board must be in writing to the corporate legislative officer and more information is available here.
