AERATOR - Wingdiggers $15

This handy little tool is dirt cheap and saves much back-breaking effort turning your compost over. The little wings on the side of the steel rod flip in as it is pushed into the compost pile as it is withdrawn, the heavy-duty blades open to aerate and turn the compost. This is great for aerating your compost and ensuring a good mix of your browns and greens for optimal heat generation.

Turns compost without resorting to the traditional back-breaking job of removing and reloading by shovel or pitchfork.
