What is household hazardous waste?
Household hazardous waste (HHW) is any waste from your home that you consider to be dangerous or of which you are unsure. It includes leftover household products that are marked flammable, corrosive or poisonous, or those that are compressed gas (such as aerosols, butane and lighters).

*Household hazardous waste can only be accepted during the hours listed as it requires special handling by a qualified technician. The Comox Valley and Campbell River Waste Management Centres will be closed all provincially recognized statutory holidays.
