Please Do Not Dispose of Mattresses at the Comox Valley and Campbell River Waste Management Centre's Until Further Notice
Due to the fire on September 13, 2026 at the mattress disposal area of the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre, CSWM currently has limited ability to store and dispose of mattresses at the Comox Valley and Campbell River Waste Management Centres.
We would greatly appreciate it if residents could refrain form disposing of mattresses at this time unless it is absolutely necessary.
CSWM staff is working hard to restore this service and extends our thanks to our community for its cooperation and understanding.
