Rural Areas of the CVRD and SRD

Curbside garbage, recycling or yard waste pick-up is not provided by municipalities within the rural areas of the Comox Valley and Strathcona regional districts. Rural area residents are responsible for setting up their own curbside pick-up with private providers, or taking their garbage and recyclables to one of the CSWM waste management facilities.

The following providers offer private curbside garbage and recycling pickup services:

If you are a contractor that would like to be added to this list of providers, contact us.

Don't have curbside recycling pick-up? Please refer to our Recycling Depots page for information on where to take your recyclables. Keep It Clean Do you ever wonder if it’s OK to recycle dirty or partially full containers? You’re not alone! Leaving containers dirty can contaminate other recyclables, which means they might not be recycled.
